Latest SkypeforLinux not working after Ubuntu 14.04 software update - Starts with Blank Screen

Hi

The two last updates ( that included SkypeforLinux ) broke Skype
completely, left me with a blank screen, and not responding to any actions.

I had to remove SkypeforLinux and install older version:

sudo apt-get install skypeforlinux=8.11.0.4

Just wondering if this problem has been reported for Ubuntu 14.04
