PPS:

The Google Earth package adds a third party repository, much likely the
Google Earth Pro package, too. Updates won't work anymore, unless you
import the public key.

[weremouse at moonstudio ~]$ sudo apt update -qq
W: GPG error: http://dl.google.com/linux/earth/deb stable Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 1397BC53640DB551
E: The repository 'http://dl.google.com/linux/earth/deb stable Release' is not signed.
[weremouse at moonstudio ~]$ sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 1397BC53640DB551
Executing: /tmp/tmp.685nM9ZSwg/gpg.1.sh --keyserver

[weremouse at moonstudio ~]$ sudo apt update -qq
All packages are up to date.

It might makes sense to keep the repository for Google Earth Pro, but
not for Google Earth, since it's discontinued and replaced by
Google Earth Pro, so I decided to remove it.

[weremouse at moonstudio ~]$ sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-earth.list
