Hi,
Don't worry an example will follow soon.

Ok, I didn't install it and Tails 3.1 by default ships without it, however, I need to do it by a script, so I have to find the dconf location. Listing all available settings using gsettings and to find what's needed using grep seems to be no issue, maybe true for the clock, but since I experienced that it could be an issue, I didn't try it for the clock settings.
I agree with Xen, that Cinnamon is also terrible. To keep it short, neither Cinnamon, nor Gnome could be used on my old machine regarding graphics related performance issues.
And btw. I don't hate anything at all, I just try to save a Mate user from migrating to GNOME, based on false expectations.
Even if some people really should experience GNOME as free from fatal bugs, I still wonder that nobody commented my claim about the inconsistent design of GNOME apps. Some apps provide a burger thingy and others a menu bar only. What ever you should prefer, GNOME apps don't provide a consistent workflow.
Regards,
Ralf
