Hi,
since I'm in a hurry, just a very short hint.
I'm using two TOSHIBA-TL100 SSDs. Inexpensive, fast, no noise at all,
the vendor provides Linux software e.g. decrypting the obscure smartctl
output.
I'm using a GA-B85M-D3H mobo with an Intel Celeron G1840 and 8 GiB RAM,
good enough for heavy real-time audio productions, when using a
decent audio interface, but I can't comment on high amounts of opened
Firefox tabs. Anyway, the machine has got less power consumption.
Since I use a cheap case and a cheap power supply, the fan of the power
supply and/or of the CPU is/are audible. The hardware is running
without issues for less than a year now, so no log term experiences.
I can't comment on keyboard and mouse for your needs, but IMO the EIZO
EV2450 is a good monitor. Mine isn't old, so again, no log term
experiences, but I wouldn't buy a cheaper monitor, since I tested one
before.
Regards,
Ralf
