Perhaps it is just easier to list:

This machine is a Thinkpad X220 Tablet.
...Which replaced a Thinkpad X61 Tablet; Thinkpad R52; Thinkpad R31.
...Hot spare reserve machine is a Thinkpad X230 Tablet.

Newest close purchase was a Thinkpad X260.
...Which replaced a dying Thinkpad X230
...and its accompanying Thinkpad X60 cold spare).

The X220 is the primary machine because of the keyboard.
The X240 are missing mouse buttons, this was reverted in the X250.
