Printer Problem

Thanks for the update. I agree that the printer seems to be visible on 
both machines. When you reinstalled cups, was it only the package "cups" 
or did you reinstall the other packages with cups in their name as well? 
If it was only the package cups, the I would suggest to also reinstall 
the other packages. Other than that, I have no further idea.
