There shouldn't been issues, but in my experiences it's better to use
the binary from the Oracle website, instead of a version compiled
against distro packages.
An example for a graphic issue: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/50120
Usually virtualbox from a distro's repositories doesn't suffer from such
a graphic issues, but very often USB is more fishy when using
virtualboxn from e.g. Arch Linux or Ubuntu repositories, than when using
the Oracle binary.
