Hi,

it turns out that apt could replace

gdebi, resp.

  sudo dpkg -i --force-depends package.deb
  sudo apt{,-get} -f install

as pointed out by Petter

I noticed that here is the need to add the path, since without the
path at least auto-completion doesn't work.
