Hi,
First thanks for your reply, Scott.
I had tried according to the link you posted: (on Ubuntu 16.10 server):

apt-get install upstart-sysv sysvinit-utils -y
And I get:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package upstart-sysv is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
  systemd-sysv:i386 systemd-sysv

E: Package 'upstart-sysv' has no installation candidate

Please advise - what should I do ?

Regards,
Kevin
