Lubuntu will run all of those, and it will also run any Ubuntu package.

It uses the LXDE desktop, which is lighter-weight than Unity and
doesn't need hardware 3D for good performance.

However, note, if you install packages from other desktops, such as
GNOME 3 (which is what Unity is based on), or KDE, then it will pull
in quite a lot of those desktops' supporting libraries. This can burn
a lot of disk space.

But saying that, even 120GB is quite a lot! My default root partition
size for Ubuntu is 16GB, and 32GB if I will be doing a lot of
experimenting with different desktops etc.

However, of the packages you list:

 - LibreOffice: no problem. I normally install this on Lubuntu & then
remove Lubuntu's default AbiWord & Gnumeric.

 - LibreCAD: I don't know, but probably fine

 - VirtualBox: it will work but with 1GB of RAM you won't be able to
run large VMs. A small VM with just 200-300MB of RAM will work but
almost no modern OSes will run with so little. Also, a P4 may not have
hardware virtualisation support (Intel VT) -- only the last generation
P4s had it -- so it will be slower.

 - WINE: will work but Windows apps will require the same sort of
resources that they do under Windows, and this is a very low-end
machine for modern Windows apps.
