Hey guys,
Something is terrible wrong with Ubuntu. Millennials fault? Who knows...
:-/
Starting with 16.04, the quality of the distribution dropped a LOT.
In my previous e-mail to this list, I can show that 100% of my RAM is
being used by nothing (or at least, I can't find what is using it, even
after digging into the system).
Now, it is near to impossible to use Ubuntu on a brand new Macbook Pro,
top line, due to a high frequency flickering.
Watch this:

I've updated from 16.04, to 16.10, to see if flickering was solved but, it
is so damn slow, and I mean it, sooooo slow, that my Macbook Pro feels like
a 586, again, impossible to use but, now, because it is SUPER slow.
What a heck is going on with Ubuntu?
Cheers!
Thiago
