Yes, I think there is something a little awry with 15.10 keyboard and
mouse handling in X. I have a problem with cut/paste making the mouse
cursor stuck in one window (though it actually can move all around the
screen).
The cure for my issue is to momentarily switch to a console and back
to X (i.e. ctrl/alt/<n> and then ctrl/alt/7). Does this fix your
continuous auto-repeat by any chance?
