As the person who said I always get rid of dnsmasq, I have to say that
I agree!

My own needs ARE specific: I work and play with networking all the time
. For me, dnsmasq gets in the way - but it gets in the way by trying
very hard to Just Work.

For anyone who wants stuff to Just Work - leave Network Manager alone,
leave dnsmasq alone, and let them silently make everything Just Work.
