With a previous reply regarding this claim, I just wanted to point out
that "direct access" is an ambiguous wording, when speaking about
virtualbox, that doesn't require Samba to share folders.

On one hand a virtualbox's shared folder grant direct access to the
device, on the other hand, it's not hat kind of direct access, where
the guest is responsible for "providing" the access.
