Trying to get 16.04 up, mouse does not work properly

Yes, appears to work fine, scroll wheel and all. Something is borked and 
not finished when the do-releas-upgrade failed.

I did a apt-get install -f and dpkg-reconfigure radeon-xorg or whatever 
the package appeared to be. Apparently the mouse is missing something...
