Interesting how things change. The complaint I am used to seeing
regarding changing the subject line/content is that it does not start a
new thread for people using readers that support proper
threading,thereby hijacking the thread.
A long time ago when I first found this group I was told by a long time
user that indicating a resolution was a good way to let someone reading
an archive in the future know that the thread was worth reading.
However, if the norms of the group have changed I can certainly adapt.
