What is Chromium doing unseen?

chromium spawns different processes for different purposes, it will
spawn one process of type renderer for each open tab, it will spawn
ppapi type processes for embedded flash stuff... etc... etc 

this has nothing to do with spying on you at all, it is simply how the
app is designed ...

*if* there is/was any spying (beyond collecting harmless statistical
data), the app wont need to spawn extra processes for it, it would just
be in the main process...
