It was a problem of communication.
My understanding of gnome-disks was, that it's based on udisks and
gvfs to e.g. temporarily mount a device, every time a users starts a
session. If it's not needed any more, the user easily could disable
auto-mounting. For this purpose it would be an advantage compared to
fstab.
Somebody perhaps could have corrected me and explained me that I'm
mistaken, that gnome-disks cares about everything that is
recommended, when regularly auto-mounting. That the purpose of
gnome-disks is not different to that of fstab, that it's intended for
exactly the same purpose too. It was my misunderstanding, my wrong
guess was, that it's not intended to replace the functionality of
fstab.
However, I asked to prove me wrong, but nobody did.
Instead of all the discussion, a short clarification would have been
enough ;).
