Creating a Windows VM Inside Ubuntu

So, while I agree with Liam that likely Win7/Win10 would be best here 
for his specific application, It isn't very hard to use KVM/Virt-Manager 
and either an RDP client or VNC to get to the desktop.

Here's a not ancient tutorial (you may find newer ones) that should get 
you started. Let us know if you need additional help.
