Are you still having problems with this?

I haven't used testdisk in ages, so I doubt I can come up with anything
that is so general. It is also hard to advise you exactly what choices
to make at each step, without knowing your exact setup and
circumstances. Take a look at this site:

Under the Documentation heading there is a menu by menu explanation
that you can follow, it seems quite thorough. Ask again here if you
have specific questions, as those are much easier to answer.
