Anyone else having problems with Sound Converter 2.0.4 (Ubuntu 14.04)?

I'm aware that Johnny wants to do it with soundconverter and with my
suggestion I didn't want to promote using the command line instead. But
as it doesn't work with soundconverter due to a problem with 24 bit flac
files, there is that extra step of converting from 24 bit to 16 bit on
the command line. Sure it would be nicer if it would work with
soundconverter alone, but as long as this extra step is necessary, it
would be easier to only use the command line.
