Anyone else having problems with Sound Converter 2.0.4 (Ubuntu 14.04)?

Because I think he wants to do it with soundconverter.

He may not be asking simply for his own benefit, he could be trying to
set up something easy-to-use for someone else. Or himself. There's
nothing inherently wrong with doing simple tasks in a GUI, and what he
is asking for is something that should Just Work (tm).
