Loose toner cartridge is one I would not have suspected. I have had
cable issues hence my packrat mentality with saving spare parts from
defunct printers and computers.

I have read on this list several issues with HP printers which is
surprising because they are generally reliable and Linux friendly. I
know in SuSE, and Knoppix such things seem hardly to occur but with the
test system running Trinity 1204 about to go live when I get my network
up its best to know if there are bugs to work out first. I have found
that running multiple exxperiments on top of one another leads to lots
of hair pulling. Best to debug things stand alone first then combine
them in to the network which itself will be two machines before three
etc.
