CAD problem on the new PC

Hi There,
after 4 years of use laptop, I made a new desktop.The AMD with AMD Radeon video card.
The problem is the following:I want to move desktop CAD design. On the laptop I ViaCAD v8, which works very well under wine.On the desktop I want to buy the software version 9, but I tried trial under wine (Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit) and does not open. In GKrellM shows me that consume 76% of CPU resources. The monitoring system is open daemon - should be forced to stop him.
I installed xp virtualbox and below it. I have 16 GB RAM - 10 GB allocated for virtualbox.When opened in XP applications like keyshot or viacad (I guess using 3-D) image fluctuates and it shows 80% jerry. Can not do anything so in the software.
If helpful, desktop was a few months of good windows and was made clear and complete picture jerry sound bar. Back out of the power cord.
3 weeks is going very well and Ubuntu. Leaving home for hours and I let him in, trust computation - this is the beautiful at Lnx.
In conclusion: deb version but VariCAD which has cost 2 300 lei. Viacad is only for win but cost $ 100.
I can not rely on the laptop. A worked 4 years 13 hours per day with 67% loading. + That is slow as hell - not ssd.
Write, please, any solution will pass through your head, si I have a choice.
FreeCAD solution ?? If someone can teach me? Imports and exports dwg?
