Yes. Stop using it. Teach your children well, monitor them when
they're on the internet at all, and stop using bad technology that
blocks legitimate traffic more than it blocks bad, and that is
woefully inadequate as a substitute for real parenting.

If you MUST filter, learn how to set up a completely transparent proxy
and force all internet traffic through it. Then block things yourself
at the proxy instead of trusting blindly that someone else will get it
right. Squid is great for this.
