The Win7 system is behind NAT; it will be unable to locate the printer
by any automatic means unless that means is able to cross NAT. You
should be able to connect to the printer by name or address using a
protocol such as LPD. Most printers support a wide range of access
methods.

Alternatively, if you are prepared to expose the VM a liitle more by
changing it's network interface to be bridged, then the same mechanisms
the host uses will be available to the guest.
