I want to install the steam games on the other drive (both are 128 GB SSD) but steam says the other drive/folder must have execute permissions. I formatted it using gparted and I've tried different file systems like ext4 and NTFS but nothing seems to help. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If you have an /etc/fstab entry for the filesystem on the second drive,
make sure that the fourth field includes "exec", if you aren't using the
defaults. See "man 5 fstab" for details. Then remount the filesystem or
reboot.
