Printer won't initialize

This is really beginning to get my goat. Seems like every time I turn around I'm having some kind of 
an issue. Now my HP 1020 Laserjet won't initialize. The last time a successful print job was run was 
Mon 26 Jan 2015 04:54:09 PM CST according to the CUPS Job Manager.  I'm seeing this in dmesg:

Basically the printer for some reason will not initialize since yesterday evening (I just
noticed it this morning). I've changed to another USB port and instead of 
usb 2-6: device descriptor read/64, error -110 I get usb 2-5 which makes sense since I
changed to a different port. Bottom line, I have no idea what the heck is going on or
where or how to figure out how to fix it. Any assistance is appreciated.
