In regards to my previous post about booting another kernel I noticed in
my syslog snip from 7-8pm this popped up again:

Jan 12 19:43:52 localhost kernel: [11781.820024]
[drm:i915_hangcheck_elapsed] *ERROR* Hangcheck timer elapsed... render
ring idle

I have no idea what this means but it's been in my syslog each time the
system locks up no matter what kernel version I'm running. Can someone
enlighten me?
