I'm getting a fair amount of stuff like this in my syslog:
-----
Jan 2 07:56:53 treat dbus[803]: [system] Activating service
name='org.freedesktop.ModemManager1' (using servicehelper)
Jan 2 07:56:53 treat dbus[803]: [system] Activated service
'org.freedesktop.ModemManager1' failed: Cannot launch daemon, file not
found or permissions invalid
Jan 2 07:58:53 treat dbus[803]: [system] Activating service
name='org.freedesktop.ModemManager1' (using servicehelper)
Jan 2 07:58:53 treat dbus[803]: [system] Activated service
'org.freedesktop.ModemManager1' failed: Cannot launch daemon, file not
found or permissions invalid
Jan 2 08:00:53 treat dbus[803]: [system] Activating service
name='org.freedesktop.ModemManager1' (using servicehelper)
Jan 2 08:00:53 treat dbus[803]: [system] Activated service
'org.freedesktop.ModemManager1' failed: Cannot launch daemon, file not
found or permissions invalid
-----
Now I don't have or want a modem.
How do I make this shut up, so I can pay attention to the important stuff?
