Good choice for generic postscript printer

I installed Lubuntu 14.04 LTS  and have a hp laserjet 1320 
printer. When I first installed both Linux and Windows both 
waited to time out before printing the last page.  After 
messing around I installed the pxlmono.ppd and it seems to 
be working correctly for Lubuntu, but windows is still doing 
the time out. I'm guessing the windows PCL driver is causing 
problems. I wondered if anyone had suggestions of a 
postscript printer to try to use as a driver in windows 
since it no longer has a generic postscript option.
