You mean transfer rate, correct? As in 3Gbit/sec? The SATA2 ports should
support a drives that can handle up to 3Gbit/sec burst rate, the SATA3 port
should handle 6Gbit/sec
Since 6 Gb/s is the SATA3 standard, make sure that the drive you find
supports that standard. Then make sure you plug it to the correct
connector to get the SATA3 speed.
