Yes I started on WordStar in CP/M also. The only thing I ever had to learn was the WordStar ctrl+letter stuff. Since then I've used mostly WordPerfect
for DOS and then for Windows, until Linux came along. I am not going to make this the beginning of a sequence of back-and-forth with those who have
no problem with LibreOffice. When I found something, or maybe a couple of things, that Libre wouldn't let me do, I went looking for something that would.
Ni, I don't remember just what. I'm not interested in studying a word processor, I just want to use it. TextMaker fills that bill nicely. I will not answer any
arguments!
