If this applet, that is part of the GUI, shouldn't display something
unusual, since it might suffer from latency, resp. should be
unresponsive too, push Ctrl+Alt+a_function_key to leave the GUI and
then run "top", "ps aux | less" might be ok too and maybe "df" is
useful.
