I'd missed that. :(

It'll work but, again, more care should be taken than simply changing
sources.list and dist-upgrading. And, again, do-release-upgrade
automates it all - although I don't know whether that it'll allow you
to skip a version so you'd have to do it in two steps. I'd also do a
sources.list upgrade in two steps...
