So far fruitless attempt to get started with Android inside Virtual Box.

Hello Everybody.
At present, I am trying to get started with Android 4.4. Kitkat along the lines of
these instructions:
http://www.howtogeek.com/164570/how-to-install-android-in-virtualbox/
Everything goes 'out of the box' :-) until the moment I need to sign in with my
gmail account. The manual mentioned here above writes the following with
respect to this moment:
> Android should boot up like any other operating system would in your virtual
> machine. As with an Android smartphone or tablet, you’ll have to go through
> the setup process and optionally provide Google account details. Skip the
> Wi-Fi setup screen — Android will use your virtual machine’s standard
> Internet connection.
However, I simply do not manage to discover an opportunity to 'skip' that Wi-Fi
setup screen. So far, I do not manage to use the mouse or the tab button to
activate the 'next' button. And when simply activating that WiFi setup, I get
stuck also - I keep seeing something like 'setting up WiFi.
Is anybody able to provide me with some feedback with a view to passing this
barrier?
Thanks in advance. Have a good day.
Respectfully Yours.
Bas G. Roufs.
