unlocking ubu screen on monday

hi,

in previous versions i would lock ubuntus screen and its process would
fall asleep after few days (going to swap, probably). When coming back
from weekend i would not be able to unlock because the system would
not react, or need very long for that.

After sometime people somehow fixed that. Unlocking was instantaneous
after a weekend locked.

Noe it seems that the problem is back.

Does anybody know which developments are going on there related to this topic?
