update to ubuntu 15 failed..

This might not be what you want to hear, but if the upgrade stopped
half-way and you have rebooted, you will _probably_ be better off with
saving your data and doing a clean install. Or restore from the backup
you made before doing the upgrade (you _did_ do a backup, didn't you?)

Even if you can recover from the problem dpkg is throwing up now, your
system will most likely be in a quite inconsistent state, and there
will be other things to clean up. The _easy_ way out is a restore or a
clean install.

You could also take a look at the man page for apt-get, particularly
the "-f" parameter, but it might not be able to get you out of this
mess.
