Resolution on a unknokn monitor - error X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)

I think the problem is this line "xrandr --newmode "1920x1080_60.00" 
173.00 1920 2048 2248 2576 1080 1083 1088 1120 -hsync +vsync ".
Is there some randr option to force the newmode to be added on the VGA-0 
instead DVI(my working display is VGA-0)?
