when I zoom in, the fonts look fine, no distortion. However, web pages
in particular are not easily readable -- at least, not as they were with
the previous monitor.
I just now ran:
sudo fc-cache -f -v
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats/Microsoft_Fonts
It's hard to describe, and that screenshot looks fine when I zoom in.
