That looks plausible - I thought ACPI was dead? I won't knock it if it
does the job though.
The polkit stuff that I tried, as I found out when I went to *manually*
suspend the netbook, DOES work in that it successfully prevents a
timeout suspend and a manual suspend :-) But it doesn't stop the netbook
suspending when the lid is closed.
