I did and it was installed. I think it is a corrupt file
in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins. There is a file called
FLashplugin-alternative.so in there. I tried to remove the directory but
it wouldn't allow me, then I tried to rename the file and it wouldn't
let me. I installed Chromium and installed the pepper plug in and it
works great now.
