If you are trying to install PPAs on a desktop system that first four should do. That last one looks to be for Ubuntu server. If it is a server that install that one.
The thing with PPAs is that they are maintained by their developers and created on their system. You system settings and their may not be the same. Users of Ubuntu systems are encouraged to use packages from the main repositories.
Try looking for any patches for the PPAs on launchpad.net.

Subject: Trinity half missing 12.04 TDE
given instruction
For Precise [Ubuntu 12.04] LTS (v3.5.13.2)
deb http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity-v3.5.13/ubuntu precise main
deb-src http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity-v3.5.13/ubuntu precise main
deb http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity-builddeps-v3.5.13/ubuntu precise main
deb-src http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity-builddeps-v3.5.13/ubuntu precise main
but there is another
http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/kb9vqf/ubuntu-server-updates/ubuntu/dists/precise/
which should I be using as the PPA seems to have problems more than half the trinity programs fail on install attempt???
