Hello all,
A much better way of "testing" connectivity to the list is to visit the
online archives [1]. If there are messages there that you haven't been
receiving in your email then I'd recommend you contact the list owners [2]
to get them to assist with your troubleshooting. That way, the thousands of
people reading this mailing list who can't actually assist with fixing
issues with the mailing list don't get a "is it working" email.
I'm not trying to pick on Jay in particular as this type of message pops up
on a semi-regular basis so I thought I'd provide a better alternative.
