installing subversion 1.7 on 14.04

Hi there,
I installed version 14.04.
Everything seems to work fine. But I need version1.7 (not 1.8..) of 
subversion installed.

Is there a way to install an older version of svn?

or do I have to compile it from the sources.
If yes, can I use sources from ubuntu? where do I get them
