I installed it from a ppa: and I have been using it for over a year.
I've been mounting windows game disks images to play the games. I
installed an update with a new kernel image and then the program was gone.
I was trying to find an old version of it and couldn't. I also tried to
find another repository that would have it, and I couldn't. I like
having versions of my operating system that has long term support. I
also like the updates to be backwards compatible.
The only thing that I can think of was that the update had some stuff
that was incompatible with gcdemu and removed it without notification.
Thanks;
Stephen.
