But pclos as recommended sure does. Its designed to do browsing and email, 
play a few games & generally entertain the troops AND be dead stable.  But 
try and install something in the way of cad/cam, forgetaboudit, the 
libraries those apps need are NOT in the pclos repo's.  I ran it for about 
a year on this box, gave up and surveyed the other distro's, settling on 
ubuntu because it pulls from debian's repo's, with enough kde to get 
kmail. 3.5 years later I'm still running 10.04.4 LTS.  Installer problems, 
as Liam can testify to as we got into quite lengthy "discussions", were 
the biggest headache, and which resulted in my setting it up my way and 
terminating all the automatic stuff.  My local network is all hosts file 
based.
