errors

I am getting a lot of errors on bootup.  I am trying to find the problem 
in the log files.  I found lots of errors in mail.err as below:

Feb 24 15:20:37 sentry10 nullmailer[18682]: smtp: Failed: Connect failed
Feb 24 15:20:37 sentry10 nullmailer[1871]: Sending failed:  Host not found
Feb 24 15:20:38 sentry10 nullmailer[18683]: smtp: Failed: Connect failed
Feb 24 15:20:38 sentry10 nullmailer[1871]: Sending failed:  Host not found
Feb 24 15:20:38 sentry10 nullmailer[18684]: smtp: Failed: Connect failed
Feb 24 15:20:38 sentry10 nullmailer[1871]: Sending failed:  Host not found

About 30 of the above.  I am running xubuntu 13.10.  I am not sure if 
this is the omnnly error, as
running the "system log" program in the apps menu causes a crash.

help?
