Not sure about Ubuntu compatibility. Does Speccy show "compatibility",
or just list the machine characteristics?

These won't do most of what you asked for, but lshw and hardinfo are two
utilities in the repos (two of many) that will show you the machine
config.
lshw will output XML if you want to import it into tools of your own.
hardinfo is more about display, and browsing through the machine info,
though it can produce an HTML version of its findings.
