Windows program doesn't work any more. (Solved)

I hope you have added yourself to the list of those affected by the
bug [1].  The more people it is recorded as affecting the more likely
it is to get sorted soon.  Click on the green "This bug affects..."
link.  Also click on the green subscription link on the right hand
side and you can track the bug to see when it is fixed.

There was likely an error in /var/log/Xorg.0.log but you had no reason
to look there of course.
